Singapore: WordPress 3.8 has been released and with it, comes a fresh look for the interface that everyone has to come to know and love. From dazzling colors to better usability on all devices, this new release assures many inspired changes to the well-liked open source CMS. Let’s take a look at what has changed.
To begin, look into the introductory video demonstrating some of the key features of this release:
Some of the challenges in this release comprise a re-energized look to the dashboard where you work. With spruced up colors and a more stylish design, it’s a welcome change for those who have become fed up of the old look:
Gone is the old font and in with the new. Open Sans is currently the default font for the dashboard which offers the interface a neat and chic look that is visibly more pleasing to the eye. The developers have also developed new vector based icons that scale better with every device to give everything a good look and feel irrespective of how you may view them.
One more new change is the addition of custom colors to the dashboard. While not a game changer, it’s still good to have options.
